Old City Jewish Art Center presents Trees of Life, featuring Amie Potsic, Linda Dubin Garfield, Susan Benarcik, Cynthia Back, and Frank DePietro.
Amie Potsic’s work references the sensory experience of being within the forest while encouraging us to appreciate and preserve its future. Her incarnate environmental explorations entice the viewer to connect with their own perception of nature in a manner that is simultaneously intimate and enchanting.
Trees of Life is presented in honor of Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish New Year for Trees, at a time when forests are increasingly important in the fight against Climate Change. To support peace and combat anti-semitism, a portion of sales proceeds will benefit the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh in memory of those recently lost to violence.
Exhibition organized by Smart Business Consulting.
